Lissa Miller, LCSW
Lissa Miller is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) from Denver, Colorado. She has been practicing social work for the last ten years with an emphasis on substance abuse treatment, crisis intervention, assessment (including suicide and threat), and professional development.
Lissa wholeheartedly believes in the power of community. When two local moms took their life and the lives of their children, Lissa partnered with a group of moms and professionals to create the nonprofit You Are Not Alone, Mom 2 Mom (YANA M2M). Lissa currently sits as the vice president of the board for YANA.
In Lissa’s speaking career she brings her training and expertise to life with humor and sincerity through her personal story and struggles. Lissa facilitates specific skill training to assist the general public and other human service professionals in mental health awareness and intervention. Lissa also presents individualized dynamic speaking engagements to empower people no matter their circumstances to live a life worth living.
When Lissa is not working you can usually find her with a cup of tea outside with her rather large golden doodle, Rosie. Lissa adores her husband and two daughters and is always up for an excuse to be in the mountains.
